I’m here yet again to share another great find with you guys.
You will not believe how many views my Chelsea’s Cup N Cake review
is still getting to this day! It definitely was a big hit and is getting widely
known by the whole island. Well if you’re a fan of Chelsea’s, you’re sure
you enjoy this place too. Their concepts are different but at the end of the
day they both serve yummy pastries, hot beverages as well as
sandwiches, burgers and breakfast 🙂
They also make beautiful birthday cakes which you can

Venata’s is found in a new building in the centre of Quatre Bornes.

Venata’s is actually found in the lobby of a hotel if I’m not mistaken.
They’ve only been open for 1 month.
Decor is very sleek and chic.

They have other classic pastries like tarte au citron, tarte au chocolat, tarte banane, etc
We went there for lunch so we started off with some sandwiches.
Chicken panini served with chips and side salad.
Croque monsieur with cheese and chicken.
I didn’t enjoy this as much as I would have liked to.
The bread wasn’t toasted at all and the bechamel-chicken filling was
very scarce and only in the centre of the bread leaving the edges
very dry. Hopefully this was a beginner’s error and they will rectify this.
And this was the moment we were waiting for.
TEA & CAKE!
There’s nothing like a cup of Twinings English Breakfast tea with cake.
I highly recommend this combo if you go there.
You get 2 servings of tea from that teapot 🙂
Nutella cupcake + tarte au citron.
The cupcake was moist, the frosting was perfect and creamy and could be eaten on the spot.
(I’ve been to cupcake shops before where they actually served you cold cupcakes
and you had to wait a while for the frosting and cupcake to come to room temperature lol)
The cupcake had a oozing nutella centre which I just loved.
The lemon tart was well executed, no grains of sugar in the meringue! Yay
I suggest you give them a try if you’re a the area and of course,
if you’ve got a sweet tooth 🙂
